C-TPAT certification

Led Arnian Group's C-TPAT certification with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, from security policy to physical audits.

Problem

Arnian Group’s U.S. operations depend on C-TPAT status: without it, every cross-border shipment faces slower inspections and more scrutiny at the border. Certification meant meeting CBP’s minimum security criteria across facilities, personnel, and technology, with no margin for gaps in documentation.

What I built

I owned the certification process end to end: wrote the security policies, implemented the cybersecurity and physical security controls CBP requires, ran internal audits of both warehouses, and assembled the compliance documentation submitted to CBP. That included access control procedures, container and seal integrity checks, and IT security controls covering the systems that touch shipment data.

Outcome

Arnian Group holds C-TPAT certification, which keeps cross-border freight moving with fewer inspections and less delay, a direct advantage for a business whose margins depend on transit time.
